Today, Hadley and JJ announced that we are changing our company's name to Posit to better reflect that work we've been doing for years to enable millions of people to ask and answer questions with open source software - in R, Python, or whatever languages people might code in for the next 100 years. better tools for making data work more reproducible, centralized, and secure ![]() better tools for scheduling, deploying, and sharing the work people do with data better integrations between R and Spark, databases, D3, and eventually Python, Kubernetes, and more ![]() ![]() When I joined RStudio over 4 years ago, we were already building tools that went far beyond R development:
